How are we all feelin’, Sweeties?! Maybe you need pick me up or somethin’ to get your blood flowin’ in the dark days of winter. With the days a bit on the chilly side, it may be hard to get motivated and to get moving to stay on top of your workouts. We can relate, y’all! Well, we’re here to help and have our sweet pal Ashley from @a.will.fitness with us to share yet another exciting Sweetie-friendly workout! It’s always nice to lend a hand to a friend in need, y’all. In this case, have your best pal be your workout partner and push each other to do your absolute BEST!
First, a word from Ashley herself. Take it awayyyy Ash, “Partner workouts are a fun way to get your daily sweat on and keep each other motivated. It’s easy to give up when you go it alone. Next time bring a friend along, challenge them to a friendly competition or cheer each other on while matching step for step! “
Thanks Ashley! We're ready to get our sweat on, hope y’all are too. First, grab a tumbler of zero calorie sweet tea to sip in between reps! Now it’s time to feel GREAT! Let’s get to the fun stuff y’all and give you the details on the buddy workout guide!
Stability Ball Pass:
One person lay back with the ball, sit up together and pass the ball to your partner, then lay back down and repeat. (10-12 reps).
Between each push up tap hands to stay in sync and for added core work! (10-12 reps).
Hold on to your partners ankles and allow them to push your feet forward. Control the decent and do not allow your heels to touch the ground. (10-12 reps).
Medicine ball pass:
Bring in multiple buddies for more fun! Lean back on each other, engage the core and use your obliques a you pass a weights ball from side to side. (10-12 reps).
Buddy Wall Sit: Hold for 60 seconds.
And finally, a post workout strrrrretch.
Complete 3-4 sets and that should give ya a nice burn!
