Galentine’s Day is an unmarked, unofficial holiday that takes place the day before Valentine’s Day AND is gaining more and more momentum over the years. When February 13th comes rollin ‘round, that’s the time to celebrate your best gal pals and enjoy “Galentine’s Day”!
The day is a special day for ladies celebrating ladies and friends celebrating friends! The beauty of this beloved day is there are no traditions, or set rules to follow. You may be askin’, “Well, how do I celebrate with my friends?” Well Sweeties, it can be celebrated however ya like! But we have some simple ideas on how to celebrate Galentine’s Day with friends both new and old! Ready? Let’s get to it!
Get Crafty:
Y’all know that we looove crafting! Cute gifts hand made by you is an oh-so-special way to tell your friends that you care. Add a personal touch so they will always think of you and your friendship together-aww! The crafting ideas are endless! Here are some crafting ideas:
- Decorate a picture frame with a photo of your friends.
- Hand make a card with a sweet n’ special message.
- If you are feeling extra creative, make a piece of jewelry
- Fill up a mason jar with 100 reasons why you love them!
Host a Brunch:
Show off your cooking or baking skills and have all your girlfriends gathered around the table! Brunchin’ brings warm home cookin’ and great conversation together. Make it a no cell phone policy, and ask your guests to disconnect for a few hours! Lay out a lace table cloth, fill vases with freshly cut flowers, invite your best friends, and you have yourself a wonderful Galentine’s Day brunch! Don’t forget the yummy food too.
