Baked Sweet Tea Chicken Recipe
Y'all...Summer is almost over, can you even believe it!? That means the kids will be heading back to school soon and you'll need some easy supper recipes! Well, we're here for you! One of our Georgia pals, Kellie used our sweet tea as a marinade in this baked chicken recipe! So, you can brew up our zero calorie tea, use half for the marinate and sip on the other half during dinner, it's a win win! Here's the full scoop:
Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 1 hour | Total Time: 1 hour 20 mins
Ingredients
- 2 Split Chicken Breasts with Skin
- 1 Quart Original Southern Breeze Sweet Tea
- 1 Lemon
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 tsp Thyme
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Brew tea
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper
- Add remaining ingredients to tea and mix well
- Pour over chicken & marinate for 3 hours or overnight
- Bake for 45 minutes and remove from oven
- Baste with marinade and cook another 15 minutes
