Wedding Favor Ideas for Southern Weddings

Wedding Favor Ideas for Southern Weddings

It’s wedding season, y’all! Who’s got a ton of wedding invitations hanging on their fridge? Or maybe you're the one planning a wedding (congratulations!). Southern weddings are always a guaranteed blast. We're especially fond of rustic Southern weddings...and we're very ready for all the summer weddings coming up!

If you’re planning a wedding, you're likely so busy that party favors aren’t even on your mind yet. But it’s important to give a little something to your guests. It's like a mini "thank you" for coming and it'll be something to help them remember the wonderful day!

We’ve got a few ideas for the perfect, easy wedding favors to give out at your classic Southern wedding.

Custom Chocolates

Get chocolates custom-made and wrapped to match the color palette of your wedding. In our opinion, everyone loves chocolate and will be happy to have some to take on the road after the wedding!

Sweet Tea Kit

If y’all are having a Southern wedding, you’ve GOT to have sweet tea. It just isn’t a Southern wedding without it! Give your guests Cold Brew Sweet Tea tea bags, which are wrapped to stay fresh and can be brewed right in cold water. Put several tea bags into a mason jar and decorate the jar with ribbon to make a Sweet Tea Kit! Write each guest's name on their mason jar so they can take home a personalized Sweet Tea Kit.

The best part? The sweet tea is sugar-free and zero-calorie, so nobody has to feel guilty about drinkin’ em after all that wedding cake!

Monogrammed Coaster

Everyone needs coasters for their sweet tea porch sittin’ days in the sun. Monogrammed coasters, with the couple’s initials, are a super cute way to go. If you want to give each guest a Sweet Tea Kit (above), you can attach the coaster to the bottom of the jar and wrap it together with ribbon!

Soaps

Another sweet and fun wedding favor are scented bar soaps…wrap them up in something pretty! You can try lavender, peppermint, orange...it depends on the season. Pick light, summery scents for a summer wedding or autumnal scents for the fall, like apple and cinnamon.

Local Honey

Give out jars of local, fresh honey…it’s the bees knees! Share a little sweetness with your guests! Wrap the jars up in twine and add the couple's initials to the jars...that way, guests will always think of you!

Peanut Bags

There ain’t nothin’ quite like Georgia peanuts! Give out bags of peanuts to your guests so they’ll have something delicious to munch on when they leave! It's the perfect Southern souvenir.

Candles

Who doesn’t love a good scented candle? If you have bouquets on the guests’ tables, have the candle scents match the flowers! That way, whenever your guests use the candles, they’re transported back to the wedding. Place the candles in glass jars and wrap in twine to decorate.
