Sweet Tea Barbeque Sauce Recipe
Hey, y’all! We hope you are enjoying summertime and takin’ it easy this time of year. We’ve been busy hosting cookouts, Sunday dinners, and having folks over to our porch for some sweet tea fun and food! It’s been a great season so far and it’s been one of the best if you ask us here at Southern Breeze because we have created yet another delicious recipe that can be made with our guilt free sweet tea!
We’ve got a low sugar barbeque sauce that is oh-so-flavorful, rich, and wonderful to add to your cookout foods. While going out to your grocery store and buying a prepaid bottle of the ol’ BBQ sauce is easy peasy, it can be packed with unnecessary sugar.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup Original Southern Breeze Sweet Tea
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoons black pepper
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients and mix together well. Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Let cool and slather on your cookout favorites!
Want to try something different and exciting? Swap out our Original Southern Breeze with one of our other guilt free flavors like Half & Half, Peach, or Raspberry. Adding some great fruity flavors to your sauce will wow your special guests and send your taste buds on a happy journey to tasty land-hehe! Well Sweeties, what are ya waiting for, this recipe and the grill is callin’ your name! Enjoy!
