Sweet Tea Marinade Recipe
Sweeties, it’s one of our most beloved time of the year. We are talkin’ about the summertime season! Summers in the South are hot n' humid and full of deeelicious backyard cookouts. While we can hope for a summer sprinklin’ of rain to help break the heat, we are often left to cool down with our yummy n' sweet, zero calorie, Southern Breeze Sweet Tea!
This got us thinkin'... We love sweet tea so much here at Southern Breeze, wouldn't it be so lovely to marinate our cookout favorites in #guiltfreessweettea? Well y’all, today, we're sharin' a brand new sweet tea marinade recipe that can be used to soak in chicken breasts, brushed on juicy steaks, or dizzled on top of your favorite healthy, chopped veggies! Ready for the how-to? Here we go!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups brewed Southern Breeze Sweet Tea (Original flavor)
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 ½ cup of sugar free lemonade
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix sweet tea, and salt together. Add lemonade and 2 cups of ice cubes. Mix together until ice melts. Add in your protein (we recommend chicken for this recipe!) and let marinate in fridge 30 minutes or more. Enjoy!
