Raspberry Ginger Lime Sweet Tea Recipe
Add some kick to your Sweet Tea with raspberry and ginger. This delicious recipe is equal parts zesty and fruity, y'all! It's so easy to make...all you need is sweet tea, raspberries, ginger, and lime juice! Try this tangy concoction on a hot summer day or make it a holiday recipe when you have guests over!
Ingredients (Makes 1 half gallon)2 Southern Breeze Original tea bags
4 cups boiling water
6 oz frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed and undrained
1.5 oz minced ginger (without skin)
4 cups cold water
4 tbsp lime juice
- Pour boiling water into a half-gallon pitcher over tea bags. Steep for 10 mins. Discard tea bags.
- In a saucepan, bring raspberries, 1 oz of ginger and cold water to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 5 mins. Strain and discard pulp. Add this juice, 1/2 oz ginger and lime juice to tea. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Mix with a long wooden spoon and serve in your favorite glass or Mason jar filled with ice. Garnish with whole raspberries.
